Bio

Break-ups and make-ups, heartache and happiness, life and death - Ike‘s got a song for it all. The Philadelphia based pop-rock ensemble puts the punch, power, and rock & roll attitude into truly honest, relatable writing. Founded and fronted by prolific Philly rocker John Faye, the band has been making headlines in the mid-Atlantic region for over a decade, enough time to offer their fans a massive five album catalogue.

True Philadelphia hometown heroes, Ike’s songs are frequently heard on key local radio stations including WMMR, WXPN, and WSTW. WSTW even named Ike’s 2003 single “Deathbed” as one of the top 200 songs of the decade. The band’s 2005 track "Into Philadelphia" has become an arena staple in the city, played during major sporting events for the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. Faye’s personal musicianship and songwriting skills have also been well-recognized, enough to allow him the opportunity to play with artists like R.E.M, Bon Jovi, Train, and many more.

Faye writes not only about the ups, downs, and changes in his own life, but in Ike’s life. The band has seen countless members come and go throughout the years; it has seemed to fall apart, but manages to come back together stronger, continuously growing and evolving. With Faye earnestly and passionately volunteering to be Ike’s architect, he will always be able to rebuild it into something truly new, reflected in the name of Ike’s independently owned record label, “It Keeps Evolving.”
